Counties and towns we cover
Grouped by county rather than alphabetically, because the county is the thing that actually affects you: it decides who issues the permit and what the requirements are. Two identical houses ten minutes apart can sit under different rules.
We work out of Pikesville, which is why Baltimore County is where we are most weeks — Towson, Owings Mills, Reisterstown, Catonsville and the rest are a short run down Reisterstown Road or around the Beltway. Everything else on this list is genuinely served rather than aspirationally listed.
Two places on it need a footnote. A Laurel address can sit in Prince George’s, Howard or Anne Arundel depending on the ZIP, and none of 20724 is inside the City of Laurel at all. Mount Airy straddles the Carroll–Frederick county line. In both cases we establish which authority applies to your specific address before quoting, because getting that wrong is the kind of mistake that stops a job halfway through.
If your address is near the edge of this list, call and ask rather than assume. You will get a straight yes or no, and if the honest answer is that you are better off with somebody closer, that is what you will be told.

Questions about where we work
Do you cover my town if it is not on the list?
Quite possibly. The list is the towns we are in most often, not a boundary. Call with the address and you will get a straight yes or no rather than a maybe.
Do you work in Washington DC?
No. We are licensed in Maryland only, under MHIC #114601. Some of the Montgomery and Prince George's towns we cover are close to the District, but we do not cross into it.
Why does the county matter?
Permit requirements come from the county, not the state, and they differ depending on whether the work is like-for-like or structural. That is why this page is organised by county — we confirm what applies to your address before quoting.
My Laurel address — which county am I in?
It depends on the ZIP. 20707 and 20708 are Prince George's, 20723 is Howard and 20724 is Anne Arundel, and none of 20724 is inside the City of Laurel. We work it out before anything else happens.
Do you charge more the further out you go?
No. The roof is priced from the roof. If travel ever made a job impractical we would tell you that rather than quietly load it into the price.
